My name is Kevin Schlatt and I have been taking photographs for over 30 years. I have been hired to photograph high profile events here in Nashville. Recent events include the inaugural Music City Walk of Fame, Manuel Sparkle and Twang, and the band Everlife, live at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. In October of 2006, five of my photos were chosen for The Nashville Chamber Orchestras Photo choreograph Concert put together by James Westwater. James has been choreographing powerful images with great music performed by principal orchestras in major cities across North America for 25 years.

My photographic “eye” has been informed by life experiences, personal interests, and values. I am a collector and “saver”…. I like to hold on to things. I have always had an attraction to and appreciation for the creative process…human stirrings of spirit, heart and soul that inspire the mindful awareness of using a tool, planting a garden or making music. I recently spent 4 years as a Luthier-Repair tech working for Gibson Guitar Repair & Restoration where my craftsmanship, eye for detail and focus merged to precisely restore the instrument at hand..Check them out here.

My wife and I came to Nashville in based on our interest in music and desire for a simpler life. We have 3 Cats and 3 dogs. All of them have been rescued. We've also saved and rescued Opossums, Birds and Squirrels and even a Turtle!

I really enjoy photographing animals and capturing people in the moment. Special events, Family reunions, Milestones, Important gatherings and Historic moments are among my favorite venues for doing what I love to do. Photography!

For me, " it's all about documenting the moment " and providing a way for myself and my clients to re connect to that moment each time they look.
